There’s nothing nicer on a Monday morning than reading a testimonial from a client, and we totally love this one, kindly written by Amy Jackson, a Director at Unwritten Creative.

“We were blown away by Concept’s approach to removing a recruitment problem that we had been grappling with for months.

My business partner Lisa and I launched our brand and digital design consultancy, Unwritten Creative, a year ago. We are an experienced team with a diverse range of clients and a reputation for creating brand stories that buyers relate to. It’s important that anyone joining us fits with our culture as well as having the right skills and attitude.

Seeking a Project Manager, we had put the word around our network, used social channels, word of mouth and carried out interview after interview. We got a reasonable response but struggled with the calibre of applicant and eventually exhausted our options. It was time consuming and we began to think we were asking too much, and that the person we had in mind didn’t exist.

A client of ours suggested we spoke with Concept Personnel. Simon quickly convinced us we were in the right hands. With Jo’s advice, we agreed that our new staff member’s role would be to take a load off our shoulders so Lisa and I could focus on business development and strategic direction. They would have the aptitude to handle admin tasks, brief a team of designers, developers and artworkers and show a talent for client handling. We saw this as a position with lots of potential for progression.

We were very specific with our requirements and Jo promised to only put people forward she believed to be a good fit. She did exactly that and we were relieved to see that there was lots of competition for the role.

Jo also facilitated candidate testing to assess the writing standards of our prospective team member. We were looking for a confident and professional communicator, someone able to articulate a design brief as described by a client, yet inject an informed opinion when discussing the aims and objectives with our studio team.

After shortlisting we interviewed four candidates and the high standard of applicants made our final decision a tricky one but one we felt perfectly matched the needs of our business.

We are genuinely impressed, the Concept team have been a huge help, contributing ideas and advice, and responding to us out of hours when needed.
