

Job Title: Frontend Developer – React
Location: Remote Working
Salary: Up to £60K DoE
Our client is a long-established software business based in the vibrant city centre of Newcastle upon Tyne. They are looking for a Remote Working Front End Developer with React experience to join their team working on a white label web application. The product is being rebuilt and redesigned in React from scratch.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Product Owner to deliver an exciting new product that will increase the clients’ capabilities and create exceptional experiences for customers and partners. The role also involves working with a small development team to ensure changes embody best practice and are customer orientated and supportive of the company’s long term goals.
Requirements:
· Experience creating components from scratch with React Front End framework.
· Good experience of using ES6 JavaScript, HTML, Style Components and CSS and associated build tools and pre-processors.
· Good grasp of web accessibility and able to implement best practices.
· Good experience with optimising front end code and understanding its impact on a website’s performance.
· Experience of using version control software, Git.
· Experience of integrating with external APIs.
· Experience of working with designers, turning designs into testable real-life components .
· Experience in an agile/scrum environment, continuously deploying code day-after-day and week-after-week.
Responsibilities:
· Writing maintainable and well-tested front end code.
· Working together with other web developers and solving problems collaboratively.
· Working with the Product Owner and product delivery manager to provide technical expertise, aiding with product decisions and prioritization.
· Responding to and troubleshooting production issues and continuously learning from them, so we can build better and more reliable software for the future.
